Cusco or Qosqo in the Quechua language (Inca’s official language), the geographic and cosmic space, was the center of the Inca Andean state. They established the first Qoricancha (Ajhamama), a new religious center and the principal administrative point of control.

The modest kingdom of Qosqo with the ninth Inca, Pachacuteq, in the 15th century, was redesigned, embellished, and transformed into the center of the Andean universe, the origin, and encounter of all the trails that connect each corner of this estate called Tawantinsuyo. Later, Cusco was the spot for the arrival of the old world and Christianity to America. Furthermore, it is and has been the scenario of events such as revolutions that inspired independent ideals that changed the history of the world as we know it today.

  1. Itinerary -

    This program takes approximately four hours. We have two options: the matinal tour or the afternoon tour, according to your time and comfort. You will visit the most important historical places in the city of Cusco. In our ride, we will learn about the history of the oldest living city in America and see the jewels of the Inca, Colonial, and Republican architecture on this tour. You will breathe the magic and feel the energy of the Navel of the World, a title with which the llaqta, Quechua word for the city, Cusco worldwide known.


    Places to visit:

    • Haukaypata - Main square.
    • The Cathedral
    • Qoricancha. (temple of the Sun located in the city).
    • Saqsayhuaman. (archeological remains outside of the city).
    • Q’enqo.
    • Tambomachay.

    Pickups for the morning tour begin at 8:30 am and the afternoon tour at 13:30.

  2. Terms and Conditions -
    • We accept all reservations until 5:00 pm the day before the tour (only if you send us the requested information to the confirmation email by 5:00 pm)
    • Minimum two persons
    • If you buy the group tour and there is not a minimum of 2 people in total, you will have the option of:
      • Postpone tour date.
      • Get the refund.
      • Pay the difference between the group tour and the private tour and do the private tour.

     

    Cancellation policies

    • If the reservation is canceled up to 3 days before the tour, there will be no refund.
    • If the reservation is canceled between 3-7 days before the tour, 50% will be refunded.
    • If the reservation is canceled seven days before the tour, we refund 100%.
    • Change of date costs $20.00 per traveler and is subject to availability.

  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are also necessary.
  • Suitable Jacket for the cold of the night in case you take the tour in the afternoon.
